North Yorkshire is the largest ceremonial county in England and is a walking haven. Not only do the the majority of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors lie within the boundaries of North Yorkshire, but it has two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty – Nidderdale and the Howardian Hills. The area includes a number of famous Yorkshire coastal towns, including Filey, Scarborough and Whitby, and some amazing towns and cities such as Harrogate, Northallerton and of course the historic city of York.
