Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) consists of 233 square miles of stunning countryside to the east of the Yorkshire Dales. Blubberhouses Tree Trail – A 3 mile riverside walk through the valley of River Washburn
Brimham Rocks Circular – A 1.25 mile walk showing the highlights of the famous rocks at Brimham
Brimham Rocks Pastures and Panoramas – An extended 6.25 mile walk across open farmland with amazing views
Dacre Walls Walk - A 5.5 mile walk across rolling farmland celebrating the long time local trdition of dry stone walls
Fearby Black Swan Walk – A 3 mile walk (with an option to extend to 8 miles) through countryside near Masham
The Mines of Greenhow and Bewerley Moor – A 6 mile walk across fields and moorland through a landscape of lead mining, starting in one of Yorkshire’s highest villages.
Moors, Mines and Mills – A shorter 3.8 mile walk starting at Toft Gate Lime Kiln and exploring mine and mill ruins at Greenhow
Kirkby Malzeard AONB Pub Walk – A gentle 4 mile walk through farmland around Kirkby Malzeard, setting out from the Henry Jenkins pub
North Stainley Parish Circular – A 5.25 mile walk through local countryside allowing exploration of the village of North Stainley
Pateley Bridge Made in Nidderdale Walk – Explore Nidderdale’s Industrial history on this 5.5 mile walk through the lovely small town of Pateley Bridge
Sawley Circular - An opportunity to explore the Eastern edge of the AONB, with 3 or 5.5 mile options starting in the picturesque saxon village of Sawby
Scarhouse and Angram Reservoirs – 4 or 6.2 mile options to explor the wild yet beautiful area around two of Yorkshire Water’s reservoirs.
